October 2008 - The Ferrysburg Fire Department will be holding our Fire Prevention Week Open House from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. There will be Fire Truck rides, displays, games, Sparky the Fire Dog and much more. Please come down and enjoy the fun.

December 2008 - The Ferrysburg Fire Department will be collecting toys for the "Crusade for Toys" program in front of Leppinks Market located on 174th Ave. Please stop by and donate a new unwrapped toy so no child has to go without this Christmas.

Update: This year was another huge success! Thanks to everyone who donated and help make a child's Christmas special.

December 2008 @ 6:30 PM - The annual Community Carol Sing will be held at the Wm. Ferry Park located on Pine St. Santa will arrive on a Fire Truck and there will be a Bon Fire and refreshments served, so come out and have a great time with your neighbors.

Update: A large group attended this years event and fun was had by all. Hope to see you there next year!

October 27, 2004 - Senators Stabenow and Levin announced that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security has awarded $20,722 grant to the Ferrysburg Fire Department under the 2004 Assistance to Firefighters Grant Program. The grant money will be used to purchase items such as inflatable air bags, infra-red imaging camera, ventilation saw, plus other misc. items. This is the third straight year that the Ferrysburg Fire Department has been awarded this grant.
