The Ferrysburg Fire Department is a State of Michigan licensed First Responder Unit dedicated to providing our citizens and visitors the best EMS care possible.

All members of our department are CPR certified with the majority of them certified First Responders or higher. Continuing education is a high priority of our department and requirement under our state license which is overseen by our EMS officer Lt. Tom Miller Sr.

Our main response unit is Truck 770 which carries all the equipment mandated by the state for us to be a licensed First Responder Unit. All of our trucks maintain a minimum of EMS supplies along with Automatic defibrillators to meet any need that may arise.
